It is not financially prudent to keep throwing money at our problems. we need cost effective solutions and better management of what we currently have.

We need full disclosure of the spending process as it happens. New spending initiatives must be tied back to the budget. Where is the money coming from?

We need an audit process that provides the necessary checks and balances to administration.

Public awareness of what is going on is essential.
     - Meeting agendas need to be available as far in advance as possible. Usually items are set months in advance so it should be simple that once a specific day is set for that item it can be added to the public agenda. The public should be able to track agenda items by date or by item.
     - Every vote must be recorded and public.
     - Since all meetings of council are webcast then they can be saved.

To be Aware the Public must be Present. Council only meets twice a month. Saturday meetings would be easier for most of the public to work around.
